Hi all,
I am new to XBMC and need some help. I have googled and searched this forum already but I cant seem to find the answer to this question.
When I suspend the computer (stand by) from XBMC then it goes into standby mode for approximatelly 2 seconds but then it automatically resume.
Strange thing is that if I suspend the computer (stand by) from the windows start menu then it goes into standby and does not resume.
I have tried the obvious things like dismount the USB storage and the USB wireless keyboard/mouse as well as disabled the WOL.
I have tried to workaround it using EventGhost as well as MCEStandbyTool, but so far I have not managed to figure out a solution.
Has anyone an idea of how to solve this....?
If running XBMC from linux instead would solve it that would not be a problem.
However, is it possible to use firefox etc. within the XBMC live dist?
Is there a howto to make that work?
Also, I have heard that running XBMC on Gento would be faster than using Ubuntu? Anyone having more information regarding this (links)?
Thanks in advance
