Shutdown timer in mainmenu

Hey, i am pretty new to alaska and i am wondering if there is a way to put a shutdown timer to the mainmenu (e.g. settings sub menu). i had this in showmix 2.5 and now i am missing it, since i use Alaska Revisited.

It's available in, of all places, the Shutdown menu - press 's' anywhere.

another one: Is it possible to switch the background in the mainmenu when zapping threw the menu items?

like it is on showmix? so that i have my some pics for "movies" some for "musik" aso.?

For the default home style you can add your own image folders so they are displayed in the panels.

For background images you need to change the home style.
