ATI is a no go under linux, their drivers are less than useless. You need a nvidia card.

Soorma, that card supports sound through the HDMI port?

I just noticed the audio works through the HDMI but do those drivers play nice with XBMC?

Ok, I have to weigh in. Here is the cheapest card I could find for you:

Like $20 after rebate.

Be sure to use the Dharma XBMC Live (not Camelot) and audio and GPU decoding will work.
