Manually installing CrystalHD driver/lib/firmware

yup, rebooted god knows how many times.

My build is r32661. I can see from my launcher that today's build is r32879. I managed to download and install today's build from launcher. I says update successful. But after reboot, my XBMC is still 32661. Don't know why.

Dammit, I just knew it. make a binary and tag and what do I get the very next day, big series of patches from Broadcom HAHAHA, I can never win.

dont know why aswell? but deleting your xbmc.app and install again from launcher should renew your xbmc.

and if i were you, i would double check again if the files are in the right position and that your kext will be loaded by a startupitem (see beginning of this thread)

otherwise i wouldnt know where to search?!

Ok. Deleted the xbmc.app directory from /Applications and installed again from launcher. After successfully finish, rebooted, it is still showing 32661 in xbmc system info

Yours shows 3.5.0? I don't see 3.5.0 on mine.

what's at /Users/frontrow/Applications ? That's where XBMC.app should be installed. /Applications is on the OSBoot partition and that has limited space.

Oops again. Typo. The XBMC.app directory i removed was from /Users/frontrow/Applications.

In there, i could see:
- Boxee.app
- System Preference.app
- XBMC.app

I did the following:
