Hi,
I have an Asrock 330 with XBMC on Ubuntu. The sound output is over S/PDif.

After I did an update of the XBMC software, the sound stopped working (from music, DVDs etc.). However, the navigation sound still works.
Please help, as I'm about to do a reinstallation...

Please try to rename your xbmc profile in your homedirectory or start xbmc from another user profile.

If it works then, your profile settings are the cause.
