Is it true that the latest XBMC build do not support stacked video files?

This seemed like a no-brainer. The fact is I have tens of movies in multiple parts like movie-part1.avi movie-part2.avi etc and it used to work fine... but no more. I can't even find the settings option for that...

What's going on?
