Hi guys. I've just setup my newly bought Asus VM42 and installed openelec on it and so far so good. My problem is that the unit simply wont put the audio through HDMI to my TV. It has no problems using its own speakers but thats really not the intention. In the audio settings its set to "HDA intel, PHL Philips FTV on HDMI" and nothing happens. theres 3 other settings and the only one working is its own speakers. Is it a driver problem? Does openelec install the drivers needed to put sound through HDMI or is it something i should do myself? if so how?
