Hello All!
I am currently running the beta release of Dharma.
I just recently upgraded my OS from 32bit Vista to 64bit Windows 7. I can get XBMC to open properly and playback videos properly but run into problems when I try to scrape my shows and movies. I get the message: "Could not download information" "Unable to connect to remote server" "Would you like to continue scanning?"
I have also been getting a similar "unable to connect to remote server" with TVRename.
So I believe this has to do with some funky setting in Win7 that I'm unaware of. I'm wondering if anyone might have an idea about how I could go about remedying this problem. I've been googling all day and am driving myself mad trying to fix it.
I went into the windows firewall and made sure that each program was allowed through.
I'm at a loss and would be eternally grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.
