I have XBMC latest stable installed on 2 PC's both running Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit)
They both are set up to share their playlists over UPNP (System -> Network)
I can see the UPNP devices in my standard network browser, and when I "Add source" I can see the appropriate XBMC Server for each PC just fine. However, if I add one as a source, when I go to browse it there are zero files. I open the folder, am given two options: 1 for "Music Library" and 1 for "Video Library" and both are empty.
I have items in both Libraries on each machine and can play the videos to each local HD just fine.
Ideally I want to set up UPNP servers on both machines and add them to my xbox for easy viewing... but I can't even get them to play on each other so I've stopped here for now.
Any help would be appreciated.
