my problem started yesterday...
when i try to stream a radiochannel.. the following error message appears:

kml browser:
could not retrieve playlist from
http:/.../.../.../shoutcast-playlist.pls?rn=8672file=filename

i can switch to the webradio screen,
i can navigate through the music genres... and so on...
only when i try to select a radiostation... i get the message above. :help:

any solutions.. or ideas...

i got the exact same problem. let me know if you find a fix or maybe it is shoutcast that needs an update which noone has gotten to yet. ifilm needed one as well.

i have that problem too.... i can navigate through the script without a problem but i always get that can't download playlist error

using the pc.. the streams via shoutcast show no problem...
it could be that the server from shoutcast the xbox is connecting to is down or something like that...
i hope there will be a quick solution...
the webradio and record option is one of the most important features for me and some people i know.. :verysad:

same problem for me too, works fine from my music>top 500, but web radio does not work..... btw how do u get to ifilms? im using 2004-11-15, and im kinda a xbmc noob, just got my xbox the other day in fact...... if any1 finds out a fix for radio, please tell me, thx.

it displays the bitrate and number of users, but there is no sound.

yep, same for me. i'm glad it's not just me.

edit: it's a problem with my build. i went back to an earlier version, and it works fine.

i had the same problems and changed my ip settings in my unleashx dashboard to dhcp instead of static and, there i went! voila. try dat if you havent yet.

this is completely working now, with no intervention by me.

now i just deleted all xbmc versions on my console and istalled a new fresh version... and now...
everything works fine :thumbsup:

is there anyway of using this now without the need for dhcp?

i just tried a 01-15-05 build on my nephews xbox, and all worked except "webradio (knlbroswer)" and the "rss news", until i changed the network settings to dhcp. all worked fine after that.

problem is, he is on a network, and all the pc's (5 of them) and all the xboxes (4 of them), have thier own ip addresses and he can't (won't) change them.

anyone know what can be done on this network  :help:
