[LINUX] Video playback problem : wrong colors
#1
Hi,

I have a "little" problem with the video playback of XBMC, which I can't really describe (it resemble to some fake shadowing) so I may show it with screenshots :

GLSL Mode (same for ARB and advanced mode) :

Software Mode :

As you can see, there is an outline problem in GLSL mode, in addition of a little color problem visible on the spots at the left on these screenshots.

I could use only the software mode, but with GLSL I can play 720p & 1080p files without any stuttering, which isn't possible with software mode... so any help is much appreciated.

Here is some info on my configuration :

XBMC SVN revision : 33808
Linux distribution : Debian Lenny 5.0.6 up-to-date as of 15-09-2010
Kernel : 2.6.26-2-686 (default Debian kernel)
Architecture : i686
Install method : from svn (manual)

Video codecs : seems all, tested with H264/MPEG/XVID/DIVX.

Useful hardware specs :
- Intel Pentium 4 Northwood 2.6Ghz ;
- 512 Mo RAM ;
- ATi Radeon X800XL w/ Catalyst 9.3 (legacy driver for this card, can't update further).

XBMC Full Log :

EDIT : I forgot to specify that this problem is only on video playback, the XBMC GUI isn't affected, nor the audio visualisations.
