[AppleTV] Do not sees CrystalHD card
#1
Hello and welcome.

i got a small problem with my AppleTV and CrystalHD card, that I have recently received. Most important thing is that XBMC do not sees the card. i checked in logs and it tries to load the drivers but theres no hardware. First thought - the card is broken. But I put it in my laptop, installed drivers from Broadcom site and it's all ok. Card went back to aTV. I tried to push it harder, some strange angles, but nothing is happening. Still in log that there's no hardware. I must say, that my WiFi card warks perfectly fine.
What can be a problem? Did someone encountered similar problem? Is the card broken not to work with aTV?

Log form my last try

EDIT:
I installed latest drivers from svn. Now it sees CrystalHD. I'll run some tests to see if it's working.

EDIT2:
I run some tests. Unfortunately i still has problems. When I play 720p mkv movies (any movie, I checked 3 different) it plays for about 2-5 minutes, then the picture freezes, but the audio still going on. After 20sec. audio stops and i can't do anything. The only thing i can do, is restart AppleTV. Any other avi plays fine. no problem at all.
I do not know what to do. Any help is much appreciated.
I want to install latest build of CrystalHD but I do not know how :/ Latest build I see is r156. I see on http://code.google.com/p/crystalhd-for-osx/updates/list is r157 but I do not know how to install it.

Thanks in advice.

Try Linux, the OSX version is a little sketchy at the moment. Hold down menu when playing an hd video and give us the stats

I've yet to see any xbmc.log from you that shows playback.

How can I do a log that shows playback? Do I need to play a file, wait to hung and then copy a log from Library path?
If you can write what I need to do, I'll do it right away.

None of your posted xbmc.logs show any playback at all. Start xbcm, video playback until it hangs, ssh in and retrieve xbmc.log, THEN restart.

OK, after trying linux, I got some problems with output on component (HDMI do not work with my Philips TV, don't know why, but I do not bother).
Managed to restart video settings.
After launching XBMC, I see thet I have 56MB free memory, and CPU-XBMC uses ~45% (default skin). started playing clash of the titans 720p mkv file. During play, free memory was like 4-6MB, and CPU-XMB was around 50% usage.
I paused, then played and the playback was jerky, then i skiped back and it was fine again. After 7 minutes nothing is going wrong :/
I switched to another movie (pineapple express 720p mkv).
And here we go... it froze.

I hope you can guide me to solution. I really want to watch my 720p on my AplleTV. I hope the log will help.

Thanks.

The log is from AppleTV OS. I didn't get linux to work yet. I read this post but after changes I haven't got anything on screen. Before any changes I got some commands and saw linux start. SSH to ATV, changed to settings from the post, restart and blank screen.
I want to run 720p on ATV OS. If it will not work, then I'll try to work something about linux.
