Okay, I finally got around to pairing my PS3 remote to my Aspire Revo 3610 running XBMC LIVE, and it is so far the best method I've used to control XBMC (much better than a keyboard sitting on my coffee table). However, I would still like to be able to use my Harmony remote instead. After successfully pairing my PS3 remote to my revo, I assumed I could probably follow the same process with my Logitech Harmony PS3 Adapter and everything would work like it does with the PS3. However, this doesn't seem to be the case.

After running the command line
Quote:sudo python ~/ps3pair/ps3_pair.py
I get this in my terminal window after hitting the connect button on the adapter.
Quote:Please HOLD the START and ENTER buttons on the PS3 remote.
Searching for devices, please wait...
Found:
1: 00:07:61:E8:11:49 [BD Remote Control] This IS the address to the adapter.
Select the device you wish to add [1]: 1
Registering device... Done
I then run the command
Quote:sudo nano /etc/bluetooth/input.conf
And I change the address to 00:07:61:E8:11:49.
I then reboot the system to insure all the changes have taken effect, but it appears that XBMC is not reading the commands from the unit. I would think that it should work since the adapter works by receiving IR signals from the Harmony remote and emits the commands over Bluetooth, so the PS3 can read it. If anybody knows a workaround, I would really appreciate it. It would be nice if I could simply use one remote for all of my devices. Thanks!

I am trying to do the same thing. Not having much luck.

I hold the connect button and the adapter starts blinking. The script says it finds a device and that it paired it, but the adapter doesn't stop blinking like it's supposed to.
