I just started getting this problem as I passed the 400 movie mark, I have been using XBMC for over a year now and know how to add movies, now all of the sudden when i add a movie, it will download all the info and add it to the library, but it won't have a name, I have to "edit name" and manually name it,, i have to do the same thing if I refresh a movie,,
it is a build from about 1st week of July,, so I don't know if it is a bug specific to then and has been fixed or something ongoing, I just want to know, and to inform if it is still there so it can be fixed before final Dharma release
i will be upgrading to final release, just pain to switch to new releases with a large movie/tv collection, takes forever to redownload all info as the database doesn't transfer as well as the music collection
*UPDATE*
After seeing Jestephen 's comment, i went & updated IMDB scraper,, i didn't notice they put in a update for it lately, seems to work OK now, thanks
I wish that you could either set some or all add-on's to update automatically, pain in the arse going through them one at a time and keeping an eye on it,, hopefully they make something to fix this

For the last few days my IMDB info has come up blank including the titles so all new files show up at the top of my library alphabetically. It is still finding artwork. I tried changing scrapers to Rotten Tomatoes and it is now working. Do we have a problem with the IMDB scraper now? Did IMDB make some changes?

Im having the same issue.
I've only got about 200 movies and im running version 9.11 on XP. This started happening the other day when I loaded 10 or so new movies in, all the info, thumb, fanart etc was fine, but no title showing up. when I went in via the info button and refreshed the titles appeared! Since then I loaded another 15 or so movies and it did it again, but this time, refreshing the info is not helping. Im using IMDB as my default scraper btw. |

I've never had any issues scraping anything until very recently. Strange things have been going on, and I can't for the life of me figure out why it is happening.
Sometimes shows will scrape, and I will get episode details, and other times, they will simply show up as 1x01 1x02 so on and so forth. All of my shows are named in the same matter... ShowName/ShowName-01x01-EpisodeName.mkv. Additionally sometimes, a shows will load episodic details, but will fail to download fanart or thumbnails. Seems rather strange to me, since there is plenty of fanart in thetvdb. Now onto Movies. The fanart/thumbnail will download and display, but the title of the movie will be missing from XBMC. it will just be a blank row at the beginning of my movie list. The log file isn't really too helpful, but here is what is output when I try to add/remove a source that isn't loading properly. Code: 22:25:02 T:2998274928 M:1717755904 ERROR: Texture manager unable to load file: /media/sdb1/Video/TV/folder.jpgAny ideas? I tried to rebuild my DB, but when I did that only a few shows downloaded episodic information or art. |
