Req x-mkv upnp content-type
#1
Hey,

It would be nice to have a way of controling content-types served via upnp. Not that it's not working as it is now but for some devices ( like my samsung tv and I'm sure others ) it won't play mkv files saying they're not supported. I've used minidlna for a while now BUT since I run xbmc too .. I thought I'd give one up .. and since minidlna doesn't fit with my aufs .. I thought I'll stick to xbmc Smile
I do know that samsung could fix/patch the problem in their firmware ( but I doubt that's gonna happen ) but you guys are more likely to fix it...

A rude patch I applied was this one: http://pastebin.com/2EJkvXif
But like I said, it would be nice to have them loaded from just 1 file on the drive OR use /etc/mime.types ( whatever syscall uses that ) OR /usr/share/mime stuff ..

Hope you guys understand.
