Just added a patch at http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/10302.
This adds 'disabled' to the ring of options, and enables the subs if they were disabled. Thus saving a key on your remote, there is no need for the enable/disable button any more.
Patch: have next subtitle action toggle through 'disabled' as well

and may I suggest an additional feature to that button? How about opening the subtitles addon if there are no subtitles to toggle through? (I don't know if the subtitle button does that already or not. I never used the subtitle button because I didn't have two separate buttons to spare for subs. If it does, please disregard) |
