How to use Mediastream 1.50 / 1.60 with DharmaBETA2?

Hi, not posted in a while... returned to xbmc with DharmaBETA2 (downloaded from http://www.xbmc.org main page).

The add-on manager let me download MediaStreamRedux, but I would like to be able to use MediaStream1.50 / 1.60. First off can anybody tell me, will they work with DharmaBETA2?

I have tried the following:

Extracted 1.50 from it's rar/zip. Renamed the folder to "skin.mediastream", moved it to the addons directory. No dice. Would that be the correct procedure?

(I can't recall if I prefer 1.50 or 1.60, I think there were some things I liked about both), but I'd like to use it again, is is possible? Thanks!

you do all the stuff I listed here http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=74818 of course the new skin xmls don't really need doing for it to "work" but you will get many issues if you don't do it completely
