Hello ive installed XBMC live to a HD but cannot find how to install an addon
from zip file in the confluence skin.

my goal is to add the hitchers.repo and ive downloaded the zip file on my machine but where in the browser do I need to go to,.. there should be an option install add-on from zip file somewhere?

yes in the add-on BROWSER. the only relevant browser in this context. sitting right there in your settings.

Thats the problem, I cannot find the add-on browser in my confluence skin?!

1) put on your glasses
2) wipe those glasses clean
3) go to system
4) click add-ons

if it's not there you are probably running camelot - try dharma beta 2.

hahaha yes Im realy feeling blind now, but if i go to settings after changing my lenses, I can only see
- Settings
- File Manager
- profiles
- System info

Camelot? And that does mean that I cannot use addons?
Cause when I unzip the Hitchers zipfile in the repo installer myself in the resositories folder then I do see it in Repo installer but it does not work
and also when I install the skin manually then it does not work completely

yes, it's the previous stable. i'd recommend starting over using dharma beta 2. if you have already installed it to you hdd, an alternative is to add the svn-ppa and update that way. slightly suboptimal solution but it works and is less hassle.
