evening Gentlemen/ladies,
i have aquired a second ATV, and after setting it up and making sure everything is up to date, i am unable to see shared folders on my server. both are able to connect to the internet, but the new one is unable to see my server and it times out when i manually add the address with user/pass. i am able to FTP into the machine from my PC, and copy files manually onto it, but this is already getting old.
am i missing something here?
server is running windows 7. on further exploration, i've found that there is no sources.xml file. could this be causing a drama?
cheers in advance
2 ATV's, both connect to the internet, only one can see shared files

i have also tried manually adding sources via IP addresses, and it comes up with timed out instantly after i have clicked ok. could this be a problem with the actual smb files on the ATV?

there is the link to the log file after a fresh restore and reinstall, and it still does the same thing. |
