Choppy Playback of 1080p videos
#1
Hi,

I am having trouble playing 1080p videos (.mkv files in h.264). The playback is choppy with a lot of frame drops, disabling the full screen windowed mode helped a bit.

System Configuration:
XBMC Dharma r33300 build with Aeon65 skin
Core2Duo @ 2.0 GHz, 2.5GB RAM, nVidia 8600M GT, Windows 7 32-bit

Screen capture with stats:

Hi,
From the looks of that screenshot, your not using hardware acceleration. Turn it on via settings-video-playback, turn on dxva2.

cheers
