AppleTV Broadcom BCM70015 picture scaling issue?
#16
Very happy to report that R34476 (downloaded via launcher, although the system info says it is R34458) has the problem fixed.

On a side note, this version however will crashed onto black screen when I try to shutdown xbmc to return to the Apple TV menu.

Thanks again for all the people involved for providing a very quick response.

Cheers,
Wah

Don't do shutdown, do exit.

I'm anxious to see those corrections on my ATV running Crystalbuntu. How can I update XBMC to the latest svn version? I've already added https://launchpad.net/~team-xbmc-svn/+archive/ppa to apt-get sources but it doesn't have R34458, just R33778.

Is there a easy way to compile/install XBMC using my own ATV, checking out directly from trunk?

Regards,

David

1) check out xbmc source code from svn trunk
2) follow README.ubuntu
3) that's it.
