The last update by the team "Four" was on 11th OCT 2010 .... I wonder if there at all is any progress ....... the concept not only is cool but hasnt been tried by ant dev team yet ..... Hoping to get an update soon .....

I think it would be easier to point to DynDNS.com or a Domain Name Service kind of thing. It translates your external ip address to a URL automatically, even if it isn't static.
Also love the idea, a shame it hasn't been released at all. This is one of the planned features in MediaFrontPage.
