XBMC Slingbox Client - Development Status

The issue I have is to do it remotely from another location. Instead of my internal IP of 192.168.1.xx I put in my real IP. I have tryed with adding the port and without, I have also put port forwarding for 5001 on my netgear 3700 and when this did not work, I used port triggering. I have tryed it as FTP, HTTP and custom.

Any Ideas

Both my Iphone and Android apps work anywhere.

Who do you use for internet? Do you have port forwarding working on anything else?

On a side note, are you able to change the Slingbox channel from your ATV?

"input" at the end of your string needs to be a number like 1,2,3,4. I'm watching through svideo, so mine is 2.

Im running sinbox on my atv2 with 640*478. This is a little blurry, are there any progress on higher resolutions?

I have been following this thread for a while and have just ordered a Slingbox Pro - any change of getting a definite confirmation on how well it works through XBMC and if the issue with channel changing has been resolved? And finally, would a Slingbox/player ever be distributed on the XBMC platform through an add-on?

Hope to hear a bunch of great success stories from Slingbox/XBMC users...

hey guys i have a slingbox Pro.. but in my slingboxsettings.xml file, i cant seem to get the resolution above 320 X 240 ?

I can even make changes in the xml file but it will not change...

But, if i make a change where i set it to 640 * 480... the picture cuts in and out , turns pink, and the audio does not work?

still can't figure out boyofford how to get the resolution up above 320X 240, beyond that its working

Anyone noticed problems when using this with Frodo? I am getting picture stuttering? I think it has something to do with the new Audioengine?

Is this still in development? Any update on being able to do higher resolutions?
