hi i am trying to get XBMC to load-up using instant sheller on Windows XP x86service pack3, it worked once but since then i have undone all changes but now im trying to get it to boot but all it does is go to a black screen, and doesn't boot up, i then restart in safe mode ctrl alt dlt and i get a "send error" report for XBMC.... can anyone help me with this problem? btw i am using XBMC for windows, AEON, Showmix skin..

Hi there

I had the same problem.

What I did was to setup xbmc to run with eventghost (making sure EG runs at startup and minimized to tray in options) and

then make instant sheller run EG (application to shell: C:\program files\eventghost\eventghost.exe or whatever folder you have)

PS: I wish instant Sheller worked the same with win7 as with winXP
