Trying to build a couple of XBMC-boxes for friends and family, but somehow it just wont work out of the box. EDID-problems all the time on all of the TV's I've tried. Is it the Nvidia drivers that are broken? Why aren't they fixed, seems like kind of an important 'bug', right? Don't get me wrong, I know its free and all, but its just so frustrating that XBMC never ever works out of the box in terms of resolutions. When the rest of XBMC is pure gold.
Enough ranting; Is there a way to somehow fix the drivers or the xorg.conf ones and for all to get the right resolution showing up? Right now I cant move my box to another TV getting the right resolutions without manually editing the xorg.conf.
