I'm running XBMC Live Dharma B2 (installed to HD) on three Acer Revo boxes here. All of the media is stored on an Ubuntu Server 10.04 and accessed via SMB. The database is on the same server in MySQL. This works great, by the way.
Whenever I add media a library update is forced on ONE of the XBMC clients. This is either through Ember MM or Sickbeard. Once this is done, the newly added media is available on all of the clients, since the database is central.
The only problem I have is that artwork isn't updated on any of them except the one that did the original library update. On the others, I have to find that newly added media and do a refresh so it will load the thumbnails.
Is there a way to automate this? If not, are there any side effects to synchronizing the Thumbnails folder across all three clients? Are all of the files in there going to end up being the same and in the same location in the end to begin with?
