I'm just wondering, would having a 5.1 sound system level out the audio from bluray rips? At the moment I am just using the stereo TV speakers and have xbmc on my mac mini set to analogue 2.0. Ripped DVDs play alright, but bluray rips have really loud music and effects, and whisper quiet speech.
