As far as I can tell, the AllMusic scraper is out of date, although I might be missing something. The CreateAlbumSearchUrl is this:
http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?P=amg...amp;OPT1=2
Where \1 is the album title. For example, if you scrape the Dire Straits album "Brothers In Arms", you get:
http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?P=amg...amp;OPT1=2
But both interactively and in the debugger, this just seems to return the allmusic.com home page. Shouldn't the CreateAlbumSearchUrl be something like this?
http://www.allmusic.com/search/album/\1?

That sucks i loved Allmusic.com, However it does seem like it's not just allmusic, Alot of the scrapers have stopped working or rather wont work.

Is there any news about the scrapers within XBMC my music scrapers do not work anymore or are scraping wrong data.
Hopefully there is somebody who has a solution to this problem. spiff Wrote:this changed 2 days ago. we are aware but haven't gotten around to it. |

I did a clean install for my XBMC and also installed the allmusic addon for the artists and for the albums.
The version for the albums is 2.01 and the version for artist information is 2.02. (in my believe the most recent versions of the scrapers) But they still scrape the wrong information or no information at all. Can you help me with this? spiff Wrote:both of these have been redone. make sure you are up to date. |
