so.. i've installed git, did a pull and now i have 1.3 GB of xbmc stuff on my harddrive...

now, how do i run it?

Why would you do that? Just download the pre-compiled version. Otherwise, you need to compile yourself.

yeah, i've been using that version for quiite some time now but the whole IMDB scraper is messed up and all.

i installed git for sickbeard and couchpatato so i figured why not use it for xbmc as well

hmm.. i'm beginning to see the error of my ways.
i thought using git for updates would make my life easier but this is way more difficult
