Guys I really need some help with picking a amp.
I have a HTPC connected to a Sony Bravia KDL-55EX500 and have these speakers (Link)

I want to spend as little as possible just need to connect the HTPC, not concerned about the wii or anything just movies..

Can some one help?

All I know about the speakers is that they are 150Watts RMS, 35-20000Hz, 92 decibles per watt.

With those speakers I can conclude you will only use Stereo? If so a normal stereo amplifier would do the job. Pioneer A-209R for 100~120 euro.

But If you wan't to enjoy movie's you should really take a look at a 5.1 set. Go get a Onkyo with HD audio pass through and a nice 5.1 speaker set from Jamo for example. It's not the best but surely would give you a great movie experience.

Keep monitoring iBOOD !!! They often sell complete set's for really nice prices.

Or some other iBOOd's from the past.

Onkyo HT-R538 5.1 Home Theatre Receiver met Jamo A 102 HCS 5.1 Speakerset
Onkyo TX-SR577 7.1 Home Theatre Receiver met Jamo A402 HCS5 Design Speakerset

If you gonna buy something like that make sure if you need something like a A/V Sync option, or HDMI IN/OUT.

Keep in mind that you can't connect your old speakers to it.

PS. Maybe this is something for you, Logitech Z-5500 (250~300 euro) I was really surprised about the sound quality of those speakers. If I ever gonna drop my Bose 2.1 set from 1995 (connected to my PC) I definitely gonna buy it.
