Yes that add delete option in file view mode only. I ask to add it in library view context menu too.

Honestly, I would truly prefer that it is NOT there. I occasionally have the rename/delete option on when I'm modifying my library, and I'd really rather not have files accidentally deleted.

Huh r u serious? Shocked Then for u is really bad thing that windows have delete function on right click ehehe

Maybe to add option in skin settings witch can enable or disable delete option files through library view context menu.
So people like Yoda will be safe from accidental delete and others will have capability to activate taht option if they need it?!

"remove from library" offers the delete option once it removes it. why you would want to delete the file but not remove it from you library is just madness.

I'm fairly certain that skins can't modify the context menu, so this change would need to be done to XBMC itself. That also won't happen, as there has been discussion regarding things such as thing in the past, and the consensus among the devs is that they don't want the forums filled with people complaining about accidentally deleting their files.

Exactly, it just dont make sense. U can remove it from library!? Next time when u run XBMC u will get back ur deleted movie item.

I dont know is it possible or not, but certainly, if its posible to make it through skin options, its much easier to lobby with Ronie`s to do that, insted of xbmc coders team Nod

I am aware of that but its stupid. U can accidentally delete files in xbmc file manager, in video file mode. Sh*t happens if u r not careful Big Grin
But if u use remote only its real pain in the a** to rid of files u dont want to have in ur colection. Especially if folders have different names!
EDIT:
It actually works! When u confirm delete and reneme options in settings, after delete libraray stats u will be asked to delete files too!

You're given the option to delete the source video file when removing it from library from the library. Smartly, no is selected by default, so you have to select yes. I delete files from the library all the time this way. Adding more options wouldn't make sense. You can already remove the file from the library without actually deleting the source file.

It only takes a few remote clicks to get into file mode to do any house keeping that way. I'm constantly back and forth between the two modes.

Ronie,

Do you plan to add a progress percentage indicator for downloading add-ons, like some of the other skins have?

Just gotta say I love your skin. It's the only skin that I use. I've tried others, but I keep coming back to Transparency! Smile

for clarity: skins can not add or remove options to the context menu.
the items there are auto-filled by xbmc.

if any of you feel things should be added/removed, you're better of starting a new thread in the 'feature suggestions' section. ;-)
