Hi Ronie,
I have installed T! today using tortoise svn software. I have few queries regarding it.

1. I have saved the folder "transparency-xbmc" in the desktop. Will the skin work if I copy to the addons folder and save it as skin.transparency.?
2. How should I update the skin using Svn software?
3. What if I add / edit the studio icons / record labels, whether they will show up in the skin?
4. What is the purpose of .svn sub- folder in each of the folders of the skin? Whether I should keep it or delete it?

1. If you are using TortoiseSVN, right click and drag "transparency-xbmc" to the addons folder, release mouse button. In popup menu select "Move here". Right click folder and select "Rename".

Same error:

damn...so you can't navigate to the side menu, but can yu get to the up / down arrows?can you scroll thrugh the map list there?

This afternoon I did a clean install of latest nightly, T! svn and addons including weather plus. After setting up everything, weather is now OK. Checked log, no errors, I assume it was a corrupt file somewhere?

no idea, but i'm glad to hear you've got it working. :-)

Or you can use the export function in the Windows Explorer - Tortiose SVN menus... This leave the development folder intact and only copies the needed files(no .svn files)

Hi I would love to use your skin and I'm using XBMC 11.0 - PRE. I have a Ubuntu Minimal 10.04 Installation with XBMC, TVHeadend, XBMC-Live installed.

I tried to install your skin via command line and did this:

apt-get install subversion

works with no problems. Then. I go to /usr/share/xbmc/addons and execute

svn checkout http://transparency-xbmc.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ skin.transparency

everything seems to download fine and when it's finished I have the folder skin.transparency.

Then I'm looking into XBMC and to Addons -> Activated Addons -> Skin

here only Confluence is present. I searched everywhere else in all Addons Sections and under Settings > Appearance > Skin but can't find the Transparency Skin. Am I doing something wrong?

you should install skins in
~/.xbmc/addons

and restart xbmc when you're done.

similar to tv show logos, you now can use artist logos as well.

Skin Settings > General > Music - Enable logos
