thanx for the heads-up, didn't notice it before (i'd removed the skin prior to coding my own).
indeed, the epg looks a bit different, though it's not a real show stopper.

it's been asked for a couple of times in the past,
and now it's available in Transparency!

to enable,
Skin Settings > Videos - Use genre backgrounds
and select the folder where your backdrops are stored.


if anyone has a nice genre pack for music, i'll add it as well :-)

I have a few music genre fanart pic's I've collected.. you've prob seen a few before, and the sizes are all over the shop, (need some some IrfanView love..) but it's a start..

and select the path to the folder where you've stored them.

Here are some more video genre fanart backgrounds in the same style, they could be used as a replacement or alternative to a similar genre, also there are a few tv specific genre fanart's (Science-fiction, Reality, Mini-series).

Whenever I try to enter my movie library, the skin gives addon.py error. I have to go the library via the files mode, from the movie menu. I am using xbmc dt 17th april and T! Svn version. What and why such error is occuring?

hard to tell without a debug log...

might be the cinema experience script?
have you enabled it to run when you enter the movie library?
Skin Settings > Scripts > Integrate Cinema Experience in home movie menu buttons

Today's nightly build for Win doesn't have a problem with recently added. ThEy moved the recentlyadded script to the XBMC core a couple of days ago, perhaps that's what causing your error
