Hi Guys

I have built a few htpc systems using windows, i have recently updated my vista machine, by the windows update, and i'm not sure if this has disabled something or if this is a flash problem, but whenever i try to play videos most of mine are MKV, the video wont play, if i go into windows media player the file plays fine
i have the k lite codec installed, hardware wise, this is my setup, hope someone can shed some light on my problem

Windows Vista 32 bit service pack 1 build 6001
2g of ram
ATI Radeon3400 Card
Pentium dual core CPU e5200 2.5GHZ
XBMC is Beta 2 R3376 Compiled sept 13 2010
Audio Output is set to direct sound primary sound driver, Cant change this setting??
Also have tried it with 9.11 and the exact same problem

Do you get audio with a blank screen? If so you may want to join us over here..but we've all got ATI 5xxx cards but we all have the same problem...blank screen with audio on MKV files with DXVA enabled.
