Right last night i installed xbmc onto my computer, which i was really looking forward to using. Installation completed then when i went to load it up, it started as a black screen then an error message accured

Unexpected error message which then shut the program down, can someone help me please..........

you'll need to give more info to get help.

What OS? What version of XBMC? What hardware? Exact Error? is an xbmc log created?

search for your error message there's been a lot of issues and solutions posted for startup issues, directx not fully installing can be a common culprit, if you don't find an answer supply the above info and we'll be able to help.
