Hi,
I am new to this forum. I have read through the manual but am still having problems:

I have installed XBMC.
I have one movie (United States of Tara Season 2 Episode 5) and
one TV show (Piranha 2010) in 2 different directories "Movies" & "Shows".

After following the setup instructions, I expected to see on the main screen two options
a. Movies
b. Shows

I don't see this, all I see is "Videos". When I click on Video's I see "Movies, Shows, Video Add ons, Add Source".


What have I done wrong ?

Your not doing anything wrong but you probably have to add a Source.

Where is your movie located?

Might also want to check the skin settings, sometimes these have to be activated in the skin settings before they apppear - what skin are you using?

you need to scan your items into the library, see the wiki http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Video_Library

it'll also depend on the skin where the options to access the library are.
