[MAC] Problem adding a second SMB share?
#1
Hi folks -
First, sorry if this is an obvious question - I'm very new to Macs and setting up XBMC on one for a friend. My set up should is fairly basic, and works from XBOX and Windows XBMC installations. There's one share for TV Shows and one for Movies. Both are from a Windows XP (home edition) machine, with no security/password required.
Adding the TV Shows as a video source works fine - library scans well. However, when I go to add the movies video source (both sources via SMB), I get prompted for a username/password in a 'lock settings' dialog box. It doesn't seem to have to do with the share itself, since if I wipe out the userdata directory to start fresh, and add movies first, the same problem happens when I add the TV Shows share... Also note that I can add a music source via SMB without the same username/password dialog popping up.

Any idea if I'm missing something obvious here?
Mac OSX 10.6.4
XBMC Dharma Beta 3

Thanks!
