I just purchased the AT3IONT-I DELUXE and im having no luck playing MKV files-it keeps freezing and buffering. I'm running windows 7, 4GB Kingston memory-wired network connection. I even overclocked the CPU/boosted the video mem to 512 from the bios and i have the latest video drivers installed that were released on 10/125/10 by nvidia. Any thing else i shoudl try before i return this motherboard.

did you turn dxva on in settings?

If you turn on debug logging, play a MKV then post the log on pastebin.com we can have a look.
