i am using the regex found here, having added an extra section to fit my structure

i use a dvd folder structure on my home server as such:
\\SERVER\Videos\TV Shows\Series Name\Season #\Episode # - Episode Name\VIDEO_TS\vob & ifo files here

for example:
\\SERVER\Videos\TV Shows\Wire\Season 1\01 - The Target\VIDEO_TS\
\\SERVER\Videos\TV Shows\The I.T. Crowd\Season 1\01 - Yesterday's Jam\VIDEO_TS\

i've removed everything in the tv show library and when i do an update library, the scan for some reason runs twice as such:

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT
CHAPPELLE SHOW
FAMILY GUY
IT CROWD
WIRE

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT
CHAPPELLE SHOW
FAMILY GUY
IT CROWD
WIRE

so every episode ends up with a duplicate. doing a "clean library" does nothing. if i go on a series and do "remove from library", it removes one of the duplicates. (e.g. wire should have 60 episodes from 5 seasons. it reports as 120 episodes after the duplicate scan. when i do remove from library, it then says 60 again.)
so it's almost as if i have 2 libraries setup. if i do remove the one set and it goes back to the right amount of episodes, once i try to update the library again (if i do add something new for example), it does that 2nd scan again and doubles everything up.

i have my debug log, but since it is quite long after 2 rounds of updating my library, i had to split it into multiple pastebin pages (the order below is the order the complete one would be)
