Hi,
I'm using Dharma beta 3 with winxp, but even with older xbmc builds, I cannot seem to be able to install skins manually.
I copy a skin to:
$APPDATA$/XBMC/skin
which is empty although I have 3 skins I installed through xbmc add-ons, and the skin doesn't show up.
Am I doing something wrong?

Path should be

%AppData\XBMC\addons


EDIT: Skin format should be like this i.e skin.alaska.revisited
and you should have an addon.xml file in the folder so that XBMC Identify it.

I might be wrong but thats what I know any ways.

Just tried that. Not working, although I don't have addon.xml with the skin I downloaded.
Also, there's no other skin folders in this directory.

Sounds like you are not using a skin that is compatible with dharma. Skins must have an addon.xml and are now put in the addons folder - there is no skins folder in newer builds.
