I have both actually. The Rosewell thing rocks to add a dedicated remote for cheap (like to make a box to give someone, or with a setup without a dedicated AV), but for IR the HP one is better with a Harmony. Less lag.

Yes. The trick is to make the Harmony think it is a Windows Media Center remote, then you need to buy the proper IR receiver. The HP receiver is the cheapest and best by far:

Once i get the box built, i will look into usenet also.

Cant wait for Zotac to actually start shipping the damn HD-ID40s now!
