Hi, i wanted to add an addon (grooveshark) to the main menu but wasn't sure this was possible? Can this be done on XBMC?

yes using "Night Skin" you can add Groove shark as a Favorite then add that Favorite as your main menu item. or submenu for Audio if you wish.

Or with Alaska you add sub menus.
