Hi, Starchild. Thanls for trying to help, but don't waste your time. I've already spent a LOT of mine and it wasn't worth it. Here are my specs, but don't go crazy, really. THANKS!
My setup is:
- AMD Athlon 2600+ XP (2.07 GHz)
- Asus A7V8X Motherboard
- ATI X1650 video card
- Turtle Beach Santa Cruz soundcard
- 1.5 GHz RAM
- XP SP3

Stupid question, but I assume you are having the issue using the Turtle Beach card for audio....could you use the on-board audion on the A7V8X. It has SPDIF out according to the spec sheet I just read. I actually have that Turtle Beach card, though it's in a very old PC and not being used for XBMC. But I do have other ASUS boards with on-board sound and am successfully passing DTS/AC3 using the onboard SPDIF in XBMC.
