I was streaming football through firefox (executor addon method) on my acer revo.
The sound went so at half time I attempted to reboot the revo
Now it boots to xbmc live login page, then a black screen after about a minute.
The only change I made was that I had installed the veetle plugin on firefox.

I have reinstalled the nvidia drivers, xbmc live, created a new xorg.conf
Startx says that the x server is already running

sudo service xbmc-live start gives me
xbmc-live start/running, process 8555

Tried sudo nvidia-xconfig
rebooted
Still boots to command line, then after about a minute the screen goes black

Any ideas?

EDIT: works it entering xinit xbmc in command line. Still only boots to comand line though

Anyone any ideas?

Right now the revo boots to command line. I log in type sudo xinit xbmc and up it pops.
