Loud pop from analog out on startup and shutdown/reboot
#1
Hi,
anytime I switch on, off or reboot my two Zotac Mags with XBMCLive dharma beta 4 (but it always did it since 9.10), the speakers emits a loud annoying pop, I even tried to rmmod and modprobe snd-hda-intel and whenever I modprobe it, the pop shows again.
I tried setting power_save to 0 as an option, mute Master before shutdown and tried to modprobe all the models listed under alc888 card in /usr/share/doc/alsa-base/driver/HD-Audio-Models.txt but nothing of what I did, resolved the issue.
Could someone help me out? Thank you.

I've just gotten this problem after the new release. Anyone else experiencing this? My audio is connected to my receiver via optical.
