Do I guess right that this is not a addon ?

from the readme
Install into your XBMC scripts directory.
I do not use a script directory since months.

I had such high hopes but like linuxluemmel suggested this is not dharma compatible?

You are correct, it is not (yet) dharma compatible. I will do it when I update my own system to dharma (not sure when that will be).

Thank you Stephen!

Almost missed the update but i will try it during the weekend.

EDIT: tried it and all i could see was a black screen. Tried it with alaska revisited and later confluence. Im on RC2 on a windows XP. Im trying to use a swedish xml dunno if that should make a difference though, it´s a regular xml file..

heres my log: http://pastebin.com/dZ4V6ajE

Hi,

I think it is a problem with the settings that I didn't fix properly for Dharma. As a workaround, until I fix it, you can try editing:

userdata/addon_data/script.program.xmltv/settings.xml

and manually set the location of your xmltv file:

<setting id="xmlDir" value="/home/xbmc/.xbmc/userdata/addon_data/script.prog
ram.xmltv/xmltv" />

Did it. Still black screen.

I'm on Win7 using RC2 and Alaska Revisited, if it helps.

Hi,

Can you tell me the command you use to generate the XMLTV file and I will test?

There's an updated version with some bug fixes at:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/xbmc-xml...p/download

The README file has the command I use to generate the XMLTV XML files. If you are having problems then it would help if you could post the command you are using so I can test it.

Stephen.

I am trying to use "zap2xml" (http://zap2xml.awardspace.info/) which converts the guide at http://tvlistings.zap2it.com/tvlistings/...aid=zap2it to xmltv format.

When I run TV Guide (XMLTV) is sits for 10-15 seconds and then says "No XMLTV files found" Check settings.

I have the correct path to the XMLTV folder set and have a xmltv.xml file in it.

The file is read correctly by another XMLTV reader so I think it is ok.

Is this format supported ?
