Hopefully a fairly simple question.. I use my laptop to run XBMC and have it plugged into my HDTV. I use a usb wireless remote which manages to do everything I need in XBMC, except full screen. I know it is easily obtained by pressing ' \ ' but I don't have a button for that on my remote and I can't customize.

It'd really save a lot of annoyance if XBMC just always started in full screen mode. Anybody know how? I'm using Dharma Beta 4

Dharma remembers what state it was last in and starts in the same state. So if you last used it windowed it will start windowed.

PS I've just tried it, and creating an advancedsettings.xml containing:

does force XBMC to always start full screen.
