Hope you guys can help out. After searching to no avail I still can not figure out how to get rewind/fast forward to work with an MP4 movie. I have 4 movies the MPEG,AVI and WMV all rewind and fast forward like they should when played through XBMC..what is the magic trick to get the MP4 to fast forward?

I find FF and rewind work with mp4 (on Dharma beta 4), though the rewind speed is a bit erratic.
Mp4 is a container format, and you can have different types of encoding within it. If you post a debug log that will show the details of the file you're trying to ff and rewind.

Thanks for the reply..I finally got FF and RW to work after using different settings inside Handbrake (on Dharma 4 as well), I must have fat fingered something with that one move. Thanks for the reply.
