Love this program!! I spend more time using the program then actually watching movies!!


Was wondering if anyone knew how to exit the NullDC emulator, I thought I saw a thread about it on here, I am assuming you need to use a script of some kind? I just cant find it. Also (I know this is going to sound dumb) but is there anyway to be able to group games together like how you can group box-sets under movies? I have many RE games that have Disc 1 and Disc 2 and was thinking if there was a way to be able to group them?

Can I specify a diferent scrapper for each launcher? I have SNES and MAME launchers, will arcadeHITS recognize my SNES roms?

Scrapers are not linked to launchers. You select and setup the scrapers you want before starting the "Scan for new items" option of your SNES of MAME scraper.

When I select a launcher->Add Items->Scan for New Items I cannot select/setup any scraper. It starts scrapping my roms with the defaul scrapper.

Hi Angels! I tested Windows 10 preview and adv launcher doesn't work correctly!

It's only a test... it's very expected, but I try!!!!

PS: XBMC Frodo 12.3 Works better than 13.2 Gothan in Windows 10! KKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

That is not working corretly exactly? Are you sure the problem is Advanced Launcher and not XBMC 13.2 or Windows 10 themselve?

No. Not planned. And I don't think it is a good idea. There is no reason to have 1 launcher content = 1 scrapper data.

I don't know, but I believe is Windows 10, because I copied all content of XBMC on Roaming directory! In windows 8.1 works perfectly doing it!

I ran into a problem where XBMC would stay in windowed mode after exiting an emulator. The problem only seemed to occur if i played for a while.

I went over your code and watched the debug log and found out that it was screensaver related. It seems that XBMC ignores your first command after returning, it uses it to clear its screensaver state instead of actually taking the FullScreen command.

You can test it by setting the screensaver timeout in xbmc to 1 minute, wait until it's idle, and issue a JSON command to toggle fullscreen. The command will not execute while XBMC is in idle mode - you will have to execute it twice, once to clear the idle mode and once to actually toggle fullscreen.

I was able to fix this in my launch script by detecting if xbmc is idle and issuing an input, this serves to bring it out of idle mode before Advanced Launcher issues the toggle fullscreen command.

I just figured i would share my launch script in here - might help someone else who's seeing the same issue.

Usage Requirements:
- Enable JSON-RPC
- Replace the username/password (xbmc:xbmc) in the script curl commands with your own, or remove them completely (remember to remove the -u parameter too)

As you do not explain how you obtain this error, I will suppose that it is the Advanced launcher's xml file corruption. To restore this file, go into Advanced Launcher settings > Advanced > Backup Options > Import XML file (restore backup) > Then select the file corresponding to you last modification. Files naming convention is : YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS-MILLISEC-launchers.xml. Then your categories/launchers/items list will be automatically restored and you may not obtain anymore the error message.

i just try manual add rom info (by automatic gamefaq said "You IP blocked")
ca. 5 roms = 1 error -> romlist empty -> restore last backup
(i know this method with backup, but i hope, you make something in new version and destroy this bug)
