Using Eventghost, I´ve mapped my MCE remote´s "Back" button to both "ParentDir" and "Close". This was done in an attempt to make the "Back" button universial, without the need for mapping a "Previous menu" button.
This has been working great so far, but I just realised that the "now playing" window or playlist, will not be closed with either "ParentDir" or "Close".
Examining the keymap.xml, I see Playlist is closed with "Space".
So to be able to close the playlist, I´ve had to map a new button on my remote. Solely for the purpose of opening and closing the playlist.
With the limited number of buttons on the MCE remote, it´s a shame to have to do this.
My question is therefore: Is there a way to close the "now playing" window with EG´s "Close" command?
